We are Leonardo and Stefano,we
come from Mantua a small city in northen Italy.
‘Stair way to Heaven's Kitchen’ chef is Stefano. He
has a passion for food and cooking - as a child
his favourite hobby was helping his grandmother Teresa in the Kitchen who passed down her love and
expertise for Italian cuisine to him.
He went to the Scuola Alberghiera on Lake Garda to get his Chef’s diploma and it was there and then that he realised what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
Stefano came to London 12 years
ago, he started as a chef de partie at Antonio Carluccio’s
Neal Street Restaurant in Covent Garden.
In 2004 he decided to move to the Walnut Tree Inn Abergavenny,Wales where he succeeded in being promoted to sous chef.
In 2006 he mooved back to London and won the postion of Head Chef at Osteria Emilia in Hampstead.
I am Leonardo,I've lived in the UK since 2009.I come from Calliera,a very small village in province of Mantua.I have always worked in food retail and restaurants - I am very passionate about food. I work at Giacobazzi's Delicatessen a speciality Italian delicatessen in Hampstead.
Although Stefano and I come from from the same city I first met and worked with him at Osteria Emilia where we became good friends.While we worked together I realised just how amazing Stefano's cooking is and just what a wizard in the kitchen he is.
A few months ago our friend Roberto Cenciarelli told us about his new supper club. We thought it sounded like a good idea so we started planning our own supper club where Stefano could express himself with his cooking and let our friends and customers have the chance to experience what Stefano can do to their taste buds.

Choosing
the name hasn't been easy, we had and were given many ideas and suggestions but nothing that really
grabbed us until Stefano came up with ‘STAIRWAY
TO HEAVEN'S KITCHEN’ - we hope to show
you exactly what a HEAVENLY EXPERIENCE is when
you join us for dinner
Bring your
own bottle is the policy at our Supper Club,in other words:the more you bring at our event, the
more you’ll be drinking.
