Olivia Leo and Stefano are a fantastic duo. Food was wonderful and such a friendly team who great you with such warmth in their great home. Fun adventure getting there as well. Company was great - met so many interesting people and had a hilarious journey home with some of the guests who shared some fantastic stories! Really recommend this*****

On Sat 2nd of August we hosted "5 DISHES TO RULE THEM ALL" dinner. What an amazing night with an even more amazing company and nice reviews!

I was a supperclub virgin, and what better place to ‘pop’ my cherry than the wonderful Stairway to Heaven. I’d been perusing the various pages dedicated to this world, and dipping in and out of menus, my mouth watering at the thought of them, my finger even hovering over the ‘Book It’ button, but there was something about this one that grabbed my attention immediately.
I’d not long returned from the Italian island of Stromboli and so when I stumbled upon the menu which promised “5 dishes to rule them all” how could I refuse. I contacted my good friend who also loves all things Italian, and before I knew it were were booked, how exciting!
Arriving just after 8pm we were two of the last four to arrive, with everyone else already seated at the communal table. Leo and Stefano have the perfect space to hold this wonderful evening, it’s intimate but that just adds to the ambience. Everyone was getting on so well, it was better than opening night at a top restaurant, the atmosphere buzzing as we waited for the last two guests to arrive, discovering a little bit about each other, and anticipating the evening ahead.
Leo is the perfect host, and was so discreet you hardly knew he was there. The first delight was a glass of Prosecco, served in beautiful glasses, and generous portions too. It was a really interesting crowd, from a retired journalist to a contemporary dancer. Most people had been to other supper clubs but it turns out that they can be hit and miss. Certainly not the case here - we were totally spoilt with the food, with empty plates going back all night long.
My favourite dishes have to be the Seabass and Mascarpone Ravioli with fresh tomato sauce. I’ve never eaten anything like it, the flavour in those little pillows of pasta were delightful, with a very simple sauce to allow the taste of the filling to shine through. The other one has to be the Pannacotta - this truly was to die for, soft as anything, singing with the fresh vanilla running through it, and the perfect end to a wonderful evening.
Every single dish had been well thought out, and was beautifully presented. I fear this may have totally spoilt us for any future supper club experience. The bar has been set very high, and I will definitely be returning given half the chance.
Our hosts Stefano and Leo were so welcoming, attentive, friendly and incredibly talented. It did not feel like a supperclub, it felt like we were privileged friends at a dinner party. What made the evening was their generosity, offering us drinks at the end of the evening from their personal supply, and we sat and chatted till the wee small hours, never once feeling like we had outstayed our welcome. I feel like I have made new friends, and look forward to the opportunity to sample more Italian delights in the future.

I liked the Risotto very much -
could have had more all night
The food was delicious and
beautifully presented. The best part about it was that the atmosphere
was so relaxed and friendly which enabled us to have such a great

The food was delicious - the
risotto was the best I've ever tasted and they even managed to get me to eat
fruit for dessert which is no mean feat! I was amazed at how they managed to
cook four courses for 13 of us so seamlessly and that it all came out on time
and piping hot. I'll definitely be back!

Recipes
are a great mix between what you can get in a (good) Italian
restaurant, and what your mom could've cooked for you (in the best
possible meaning). :) Everything is fresh and authentic, the hosts
Leonardo and Stefano nice and welcoming. Definitely recommended.

I love Stefano and Leonardos focus on creating some innovative dishes. There was a great selection of food, it was great value for money too. There was a great energy about the place, and was nice to talk to them later in the evening. I loved that they let the food do the talking and were really focused in the kitchen paying attention to each course. I would be very keen to attend another of there supper clubs again, as I feel there are too many people out there running sub standards supper club, charging a lot, and its style over substance. Stefano and Leonardo have a really love of food and were clearly only happy once they knew we were enjoying the food, which as a chef is the only important point, that people are enjoying your food. So well done and look forward to your next event

Thank you for such a fantastic Sunday. Delicious food and great company. I particularly enjoyed the stuffed vegetable starters and the mouth watering, heaven on a plate pudding. The selection of the liquors at the end were the perfect end to the monumental feast! Thanks again

Exquisite food which was beautifully presented. The hosts were both charming and created an atmosphere which made a group of strangers feel like old friends by the end of the meal. An excellent way to enjoy fantastic food and good company.

Absolutely fabulous, yes!I'm pleased I booked my place at Stairway Kitchen on Nov 11th, The 'San Martino' event. I spent a lovely evening!
The atmosphere was nice and warm. And nice and warm were the people at the table. I enjoyed the conversations, and lots of fun!
The food was gorgeous, generous, luscious, and beautifully displayed in the plates.
I could not believe how versatile the chesnuts can be and I LOVE chestnuts!
The stuff was great! They are all real experts in welcoming people and making great food for them!

We joined the StairwayKitchen Supper Club for the Halloween face and was completely blown over. It exceeded our expectations considerabley. All dishes were carefully presented and tasted delicious - and they were all generously sized portions too. The delicious food kept coming and coming. The venue is delightful and the hosts were extremely accomodating. We met some lovely people from all over, and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.We will definetely reccommend this and join again sometime. What a wonderful experience.

I'm a big fan of leo and stefano'supperclub. I have already been at 4 stairwaykitchen's dinner and I'll be back very soon because the food is fantastico.It is difficult say what I liked most at stairwaykitchen because everything taste superb!I can say that Stefano's ravioli is one of my favourites dish,I've tried the one with Pumpkin and the one with Asparagus they were amazing.Thanks also to the lovely host Leo.I can also say that at stairwaykitchen seems to have dinner at a friends house even though many guests doesn't know each others. I really recommend stairwaykitchen kitchen.Thank you very much guys and see you for the next dinner on the 24th nov!!!!
Anniversary Celebrated in London with amazing food and wonderful hosts

I surprised my husband by arranging for us to join Stairway Kitchen for a delicious meal the evening we arrived in London. This was only my second trip to London, the first occurring 21 years earlier, and his first trip ever. It was our 16th anniversary that we were combining with a business trip and I was put in charge of making the arrangements.I discovered Stairway Kitchen was having a supper club on the Saturday evening we arrived and signed up. Leonardo and Stefano were delightful hosts, the food was so amazing I was still tasting it the entire next morning, and the company was very international and engaging.
I highly recommend giving them a try. Be prepared to eat all night long, laugh, and stumble home, fully satisfied.
