In this event we have decided to celebrate one of Italy's most popular November feast days: "San Martino".
Getting together to eat chestnuts and more importantly taste the new red wine of the year called "Vino Novello" one of the must-dos on the 11th November every year in most Italian homes.
Vino Novello is a light,fruity,red wine produced throughout Italy and the grapes are not crushed but are fermented using whole grapes,
allowing for only a minimum percentage of sugar to be converted into
alcohol, ensuring the wine has a smooth, fruity flavor.
Italy first
started making Vino novello in the 1970s and every year Vino Novello is officially released for sale on November 6 and the tradition says that the last day to consume it is
